The empty patient’s room had seen better days as well. The large medicine closet next to the door had been forced open, it’s contents partially missing. Something had pierced large holes into the bed and floor. The large medicine closet next to the door had been forced open, it’s contents partially missing. Something that was still in that same room, a broken down looking spider quickly became visible. Several mechanical parts were shattered across the room, waiting for someone to step on them. The main body had one of it’s claws pinning down some torn off rags. Not much thought could be spent on that though, the mechanical sounds approaching the room made it clear that the beetles had only served to delay the rest of the attackers. They would break through the door soon if not barricaded.
WH- WHAT HAPPENED TO MY BEETLES!?
WriggStar turned around to hear the terrifying sounds, then turned back to look around the room. The princess shivered as she tightened her grip on WriggStar, accidentally choking her.
“WAGH, PRINCESS! AIR, AIR, PLEASE!”
“Sorry…”
“Well, you’re feeling much bett-… BAH, WHAT AM I DOING, I GOTTA MOVE STUFF.”
“But, Wriggle…”
“Oh dammit, we’re suppose to look for her and get her out of this place. THIS FIRST, GET DOWN.”Princess Wriggle got off WriggStar’s back and stepped aside as the hero scurried around the room, picking up any heavy things she could… well, pick up, and take it to the door..
The medicine closet was the first thing to go, crashing down in front of the door with the sound of breaking glass. The bed was next, mattress and frame dumped on the makeshift barricade. Not a moment too soon, as something started pounding on the other side of the door, attempting to break it down entirely.
There was only one heavy object left in the room now, the lifeless body of the mechanical spider. But one of it’s legs was stabbed at least 10 inches into the clinic floor, pinning some out-of-place rags to under it. The leg was lodged in too deep for Wriggstar to lift on her own.
